Here are some websites I enjoy visiting - interesting, silly or just "cool" - with a short comment on each. Hopefully, they will be new to you and you will also get something from them. Encyclopedia of Arda - for any "Lord of the Rings" fans, this is an awesome site contain all kinds of information on Middle Earth (or "Arda").
Google Sightseeing - takes you on tour of the world as seen from satellite photos.
Photography and Windows Wallpaper
Worth1000.com - weird, funny, beautiful images created by combining or manipulating photographs.
Dr. Macro - high quality, mostly black & white images from Hollywood's golden age
Caedes.net - the only "wallpaper" site you may ever need, great stuff. You do not have to "sign up" to down load images.
Computer Stuff
Bleeping Computer - great site for beginners and more advanced users, with Tutorials, "Compupedia" and a Discussion Board for help.
The How-To Geek - Computer help from your friendly "how to" geek.
Snapfiles.com - a large collection of freeware and shareware for Windows PCs.
Music
Pandora - this used to be a really wonderful site, but you may not be able to access it outside North America now. It's a great way to broaden your musical horizons.
Funny Stuff
The Onion News Network - straight-faced parodies of news broadcasts with a US slant, some are very funny.
